Here are a couple of things to expect in the coming weeks leading up to your wedding:
PLANNING MEETING
To ensure a smooth and stress-free wedding day for our clients, we hold a final logistics planning meeting about 1 week before the wedding with the couple (this is also when the remaining balance is due). In this meeting, we will review your wedding planning sheet (you will have it filled out by the time we hold this planning meeting) and finalize all the details! We will reach out to schedule this meeting as your wedding date approaches. If you have questions at any point in time before this meeting, don’t hesitate to reach out! Even if it’s a generic wedding question (we’ve DJ’d our fair share of weddings and know a thing or two).
MUSIC
We like to have our couples create a few playlists for their big day. These playlists can be on any streaming platform (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.). Must Play Dance Songs (choose 10-15 of your favorite dance songs to give us an idea of the vibe you want. In our experience, 10-15 songs is enough for us to match your desired music vibe rather than sending 50+ songs to go through), Formal Dances (first dance, father-daughter, etc.), Background Music, and Ceremony Processional/Recessional. These playlists are all optional. We have an extensive music library and know what’s best for a wedding so don’t feel like you have to create all of these! Feel free to use these songs as ideas for your own wedding dance party.
